about.
Developer & Data Engineer · New York, NY
I'm a developer and data engineer based in New York. I've been around technology since I was a kid and never really stopped learning and building. My professional background is in IT, where I spent six years building and maintaining systems and infrastructure. I learned a lot about how to make things work, and how to make them work well and efficiently.
Python was my first language I learned and it's still my favorite (I like scripting and prototyping). Before generative AI was a household thing, I was teaching myself and making MQL Expert Advisors to automate trading on MetaTrader, and building scripts and small programs to fix whatever was slow or broken at work. Over time that turned into real software — a SaaS product for DJs — and eventually into data engineering.
These days I build data pipelines and the systems around them: ingesting from fragmented and undocumented sources, scraping and reconciling data, and serving it through clean APIs. My favorite recent project is Ace which you can read about in the Projects section. I also like to build small tools and scripts to make life easier, and I enjoy learning new things and exploring new technologies.
